Determination and the Outcome

Being Determined

is nothing new

Not to this Gemini sprite that bubbles over

Being Determined is a way of life

and it has served me well for a long time

Being Determined and never waivering

is something that is expected

by me

of me

Once in a while I get a stumble

a hesitation

a slowing down of the muse

And I have to focus and rewind

in doing that I take stock

of where I am

where I have been

and how that all works for me

I think that most people do that

I just never did it in my earlier professional career

Too busy rowing the boat

putting out fires

and pleasing everyone

Now I pause

and reflect

and be sure that the direction is the correct one for my future.
